The strategic plan aims to develop and promote sustainable national transport and roads, that safeguards environment from all forms of human made affects, enhance our country’s domestic economic and social life. The four year national transport strategic plan (2018-2021) is determined on the findings of transport situation analysis, identification of key facts about national transport in Somaliland today and how country’s national transports of land, air and sea contributes to wider social, economic and environmental outcomes.
